Location of treatment center hinges on decision
On Feb. 14 at 10 a.m. the new commission will make the final decision to approve or deny the location. A “no” vote would not only delay the project by at least five to eight years and cost taxpayers considerably more money, it will also result in lives lost, delays in treatment, diminished community well-being and present even greater challenges to providing adequate care to our most vulnerable citizens. Completing the facility as soon as possible will save lives. In advance of the meeting, please contact your commissioner and voice your support for these services at the DLC location.
