Collier County Medical Society takes action to prevent physician suicide

Being a physician can be challenging. And unsurprisingly, some physicians may undergo burnout, depression, or suicidal thoughts.

In honor of the National Physician Suicide Awareness Day, Collier County Medical Society shared suicide prevention resources. It encouraged its members to use the CCMS Physician Wellness Program, which offers six free sessions of psychological intervention each year per member.
